Choosing Glass for Furniture

There are various kinds of glass that can be used to complement the design of furniture. However it is important for us to know the type of glass that is good and suitable for glass furniture that will function as expected.
Ordinary glassClear and transparent, pure without any additional safety or other material as light absorbers. The glass is usually used on windows or doors. Suitable for small doors parts on furniture or picture frames.
Energy Efficient GlassThere is a thin layer on one side (could be a sticker or films) that serves to reflect sunlight and reduce heat on the reverse side. The glass is typically used in buildings. For use in furniture and interior still very rare, only a few people use it for glass kitchen cupboard doors.

Safety Glass (tempered glass)This type of glass will shatter when broken so it does not compromise the safety of users in the vicinity.
